A 30-year-old man, Taoreed Oseni, was yesterday arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate's Court in Lagos for allegedly segxwally assaulting an 18-year old girl, Azeez Titilayo. Oseni was alleged to have raped Titilayo in a church toilet at Oshodi, a Lagos suburb. The accused, whose residential address is unknown, is facing a one-count charge of rape. Prosecuting Police Inspector Rachael Williams told the court that Oseni committed the offence on July 20. She said the accused segxwally assaulted the young girl in a toilet at the Methodist Church, Ogunlende Street, Mafoluku, Oshodi. The accused, she said, forced his way into the toilet without the girl’s consent. The offence, Williams said, is punishable under Section 260 of the Criminal Law No. 11 Vol.44 Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria 2011. When the charges were read, Oseni pleaded not guilty. Magistrate A.B. Olagbegi-Adelabu ordered that the accused be remanded in prison custody till September 20.

there is something fishy about this post, 1. Was the girl assaulted in the female toilet or male 2 Was it during church service or not 3.. are thy both members of the church in question Plz lets get those 3 things cleared

very funny, probably they don,t have their own house, how he know say the girl is inside the toilet sef? and why she no shout? they should have tell the pastor incharge to pave way for them inside now, since the pastors too dey nack at alter
