A Adeboye is one of the respectable men of God among the many men of God we have in this Country, but on this issue of marrying only members from the RCCG is not Biblical. In one of the letters of St Paul to the Corinthians, He advised the Christian widow to marry ONLY in the LORD not only in the Church 1 Corinthians 7:39. It is important to note that what applies to the widow also applies to Bachelors and Spinters in the Lord. A RCCG member can be directed by God to pick a wife from Deeper Life, Mountain of Fire, Lord Choosen etc as long as the couples are born again, that is biblical principle anything outside that is man's idea In Deuteronomy 7:1-4 God instructed Moses and the Children of Israel that as they are going to Canaan, they should not marry from among the Canaanites. Why? because they (Canaanites ) will turn away the heart of the Children of Israel from following the Lord. That is why the bible base it principle on marrying on only believers. See Ezra 9:11-12, Nehemiah 10:28-30. On the other hand, I am not sure Pastor E A Adeboye said what was written in the paper, may be somebody out there exaggerated the whole thing, on this note I want to advise RCCG members to follow God directive because that is what will stand the test of time. The answer is NO just that they have decided not to wash their dirty linen in the public. Husband and wife should learn how to communicate in marriage so as to solve their differences without running to (God Barons) called pastors. Today Nigerian pastors have become MARRIAGE REFEREE’S. Anyway let the ladies in the church listen and remain single for life.
