TRIBALISM LAWS AND RACISM IN NIGERIA

For us to move forward in our country Nigeria, i think tribalism and racism needs to be stopped amongst us, because its affecting our lives and work places. Especially if you want to get married to someone, the first question by parents, friends or family members are: what tribe is he or she from, what does he do for a living, if you also want to get a job, the company wants to know your tribe or state, you are from etc.  The reason for saying this is, in developed countries, things like this dont rily happen anymore, dont get me wrong; i'm not saying Nigeria is not a developed country, but because of tribalism and racism, thats why we are where we are. We should marry for love and not what the pocket is saying or the societal group they belong to. In Nigeria nowadays, most people want to know what your pocket weighs, thats why most relationships and marriages dont last because people go in for selfish reasons.  Wink Wink Wink .

All i am trying to say here is that we all need to teach our parents and families that it doesnt really matter who we bring back home to marry, instead of them interferring in our lives.
