i knw d place,it's nt far frm my strt. that tree is soo big that ppl thought it'll neva fall bt d mystrey was that fell frm d root. Also b4 dis incident,a boy was killed by thunder @world bank still in imo state.i don dey fear for this place oo

Its quite unfortunate that several people as these have to die on what perhaps could be avoided. The questions we could ask are: Was there no sign that that tree is weak and is gradually falling, when such a storm that could fall that tree was raging? someone could not foresee a possible fall from a troubled tree like that?. In a time of heavy wind and storms, under a tree is never a safe haven. We should learn from the past. May the victims Souls Rest In Peace.

Right question! Even trees have a limited life span and like all living things they do die too. I can't see police's role in the matter  except to add salt to injury by seeking bribes.
