We always describe something as "fetish" when we fail to understand it. There are thousands of Nigerians who follow African traditional religion - and I believe they should be allowed to do so.


Just as the Catholics carry the rosary - which some christian  denominations find "fetish" - it does not make one a devil worshipper.

What of "christians" who believe in the power of "whitehankies?" Is this biblical?
