From a female gistmania reader gistmania guys, Could you please ask your followers if they believe it is okay for a woman to propose to a man. The reason I am asking this is that today I and my cousin were watching the reality TV show Love and Hip Hop and one of the ladies on the show proposed to her love interest. My cousin then said ''she has no self respect''. I was rather shocked because my cousin is female and I did not expect this from her. My point is that, it is the 21st century. As Africans its more appropriate to wait for the guy to propose. But having said that,I think the ultimate is to have a wonderful marriage regardless of who proposes.

We might be in 21st century but we are still Africans. A woman can express her feelings toward a man in a very respectful way from there they can become friends but it is the right of a man to propose to a woman not the reverse. This is Nigeria and not India. Majority of men will never respect any woman who proposes to a man.

to people that doesnt undastand hw life is and suppose to be,they wil say its not ideal whereas there is absolutely nting bad in it,some may even say its against d rule of God or that of some culture and thats because they are ignorant of what they are saying.its nt bad at all even i wil appreciate any woman that cn do that to me.
