One of the 18 children highlife Icon Stephen Oladipupo Owomoyela popularly known as Chief Orlando Owoh sired, Sunday Owomoyela is dead.

The only child of the second wife of the late leader of African Kenneries International band was said to be at serious loggerheads with other members of the late musician’s family over their patriarch’s properties.

Impeccable sources said that Late Orlando Owoh died intestate without a will. He died of stroke and was sick for nine years. During his sickness he sold most his properties both in US, UK and in Nigeria.
And four years after his death, each member of his family has been scrambling for his or her own share from the few properties he left behind. The infighting was so serious that it went from physical to spiritual.

While people like the first son of the family, Orimipe Owomoyela who lives in United States and Tokunbo that resides in UK refrained from joining issues with anybody, Sunday was at the centre of the whole crisis.

Orijoreporter was told that the late musician married eight wives and Sunday fought all of them including his mother. Just recently it was said that he beat up his mother over a room in the family house at Agege Area of Lagos State.

It was further gathered that Sunday died mysteriously less than two weeks ago and will be buried this Friday.

I blame men who don't write wills for all these madness. If you have a family when large or small, even a small piece of land in the village can cause heads to roll. Men, please be specific and let a lawyer who is unknown to the family to read out the will
