The priest was attacked by armed robbers last week friday. And during his homily on the preceeding sunday, he openly said that he owns a gun and that he will shoot them if they try coming to his house again.
He did not stop their, he went ahead to rain abuses on the DPO of the area, Ideato South Police Command, calling him a criminal. The reason we do not know but it could be because the police did not intervene during the robbery attack considering the poximity of the police station to the parish.
The priest also abused the traditional king of the community, HRH, Eze Festus Odoemena and other traditional kings of the neighbouring autonomous community. He called them them evil people even with their presence in the church.
Now, this morning, (Thurday, 28, Nov. ) some group of police men from Owerri Police Command came and arrested him, asking him for a proof of the gun which he said he owns.
