For now i think Emmanuel Adebayor can make it to the list, the others are still up coming
You're right to some extent, but based on achievements, all the three, Kanoute, Yaya Toure and Keita will make the list! talking about the last Champions League winners with Barcelona for both Yaya Toure and Seydou Keita. Kanoute on the other hand have won two UEFA Cups with Sevilla and was named African Footballer of the year too just once.. Definitely, they'll all make the Top African Players in Europe List.

Drogba Didier, Emmanuel Adebayo, Eto'o Samuel, Kanauté, Michael Essien, Yaya Toure,Sissoko(Juventus), Niang(OM), Eboué, .....oups, I cant think of any Nigerian player in the top 20!! Its a shame to Nigerian soccer body NFA, which is in profond sleep. I just hope they will wake up before the rest of other African countries(even the unknown African nations) commence displaying their national colours in South Africa come 2010. They should be made to understand that the pride of place that Nigeria football attained in the '90s did not come by accident. Those officials in the Nigerian football governing body that were rightly credited for that, some of their likes are still in Nigeria. Give the cap to who it is fit. NFA has been letting Nigeria down for too long. True success is not a chance game, its a gradual process. If Nigeria is a world champion in the junior category of football, and an underdog in senior category; then the obvious fact deduceable is that the NFA is not doing their job well. What are their programmes for tending and grooming the young talents scattered all over the 36 states of the federation. What are they doing about shooting those young talents to greater football heights? Helping them to get good contracts in big clubs in Europe? What about those who do not have somebody to help them actualise their football dream carreer? Infact, for Nigeria to miss the FIFA World Cup the second time calls for pragmatic action-overhaul, restructure, re-orientation, reprogramming, and even shake up of the NFA.
