Just a quick question here--most of the young women I have taken on a date rarely say "thank you" for anything I purchased them. I try not to create dates that involve a lot of buying things, but sometimes it is unavoidable. I don't have an issue with paying--it just seems a bit impolite for her to not say "thank you." I don't expect worship or sex; just two simple words.
My circumstances have meant that I've mainly dated girls from a wealthier background; perhaps this has something to do with it?
Should I be annoyed by this? Is there some aspect of dating/female psychology that I'm missing that would explain this as not being impolite?
Thanks much, I really would like others' opinions on this.

Is Ur reason for taking the ladies out on dates and splurging on them to get a "thank U's" or smth?
Not everyone show's courtesy. U can just take it that they are to overwhelmed by Ur magnanimity and perhaps loose themselves in the experience that their sense of courtesy eludes them at the time it shouldnt.

it depends on the way someone is brought up, if the people around you are use to it then you'll learn it. even if a child of 5yrs help you pick somthing off the floor it's just okay that you say "thank you" that will make the baby want to do more next time.

I believe courtesy demands here that for everything received goes along with a thank u. But i still see no reason why u should be bothered about it or was that the reason of giving her a treat?

me personally, i always say thank you...even if its little things. i guess it just comes out like that. i really dnt need to say it but, the guy actually took out the time to do something nice for me. i can at least say "thank you"
