A former Green Eagles player, Felix Owolabi, on Sunday described Coach Stephen Keshi’s attitude towards the selection of quality players as stubborn.
The former Ibadan Shooting Stars Club (3SC) board member told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the coach’s attitude of sidelining players he has personal issues with has killed the team.
NAN reports that Super Eagles lost 1-0 to Sudan in its qualifying match towards the 2015 Nations Cup.
“Keshi does not know how to manage success, he is stubborn, and he has managed to sideline players that could have helped us.
“The result of Saturday’s match has shown that we may not qualify and it’s sad and embarrassing. “We were bragging about how we were going to defeat Sudan while Sudan was plotting our fall, our defence and mid-field was in shamble,” Owolabi said.
Keshi is yet to react to the defeat. But the NFA urged Nigerians not to worry, as the encounter was an eye opener to the competition.

Felix Owolabi is actually right, the type of warfare equipment you possess can determine your victory in war. Keshi is not ready to use the best legs he has in his disposal. Constant change of player will deprive the team of teamwork. Keshi can not manage players, he is a good coach no doubt. Let him go for human management course, it will help him

the bottom line is...the Nigerian football style is out-dated, inefficient and not team oriented. we need to adopt a new style, such as the Algerian style during the last world cup. so whether it is Keshi, Siasia, or a foreigner, we cannot win most matches with our current style of play.

In soccer,,,,there must be a winner and a loser ,,,,so it doesn't determine that Keshi is all dat bad,,,, he's ok,,,,,only that shit happens at times,,,,
