Mr. Ikpe who sat at the VIP stand, Ann said, was cheerful and happy with the progress of the match and “when the Eagles scored, he was ecstatic only for the Koreans to equalize soon after the Eaaglets’ goal, which was totally unexpected to him.”.
The manager, who is about 45 years old, was married and had kids. His body is now in the mortuary of the UCTH, Calabar.
When P.M.NEWS visited the UCTH yesterday, a doctor attached to the emergency unit of the hospital, who refused to disclose his name, said: “when the man was brought in, doctors on night duty attended to him and after examination, he was confirmed dead. Since you are not a member of the family, it would be unethical if I tell you what he died of.”
