An unnamed pastor of a certain church in Byazhin, Kubwa, a satellite town in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, has allegedly been declared wanted by the police following an alleged malfunctioning of the genital organ of a businessman who visited his church for prayers.
According to Daily Trust, the victim, a resident of the area, had reportedly gone to the pastor to pray for him for prosperity in his business at the instance of a friend who convinced him that he (the pastor) had been instrumental to the success of others in their businesses.
The man, who was then given a spiritual water solution by the said pastor, alleged that it had crippled his manhood. However, the pastor was said to have absconded after the victim came back to him with a complaint that he was having issues with his manhood.
A source alleged the pastor gave the victim a bottle of water to bath with after praying for him.
He reportedly followed the pastor’s instruction, only to notice that his genital organ could no longer function two days later.
“The man came back to complain to the pastor, but he told him that he had no problem, and simply dismissed his case, saying it was psychological.
“One of the members of the church, who felt that the case would tarnish the image of the church, decided to wade into the matter,” the source reportedly stated, adding that the victim was then taken to a hospital, where series of tests were run,” the anonymous source added.
It was further reported that the victim’s ailment persisted and he reported the case to the police, who in turn reportedly invited some of the members of the church for interrogation.
The Kubwa Divisional Police Officer, Chief Superintendent Nurrudeen Sabo, when contacted, confirmed the matter.
He said all efforts were being made to arrest the pastor. However, the member of the church who allegedly intervened on behalf of the pastor had been arrested and would be charged to court.
