There's more to this than meets the eye. I see a very elaborate cover up here.
Instead of spending time investigating within the school, why can't they just get the police to investigate where the story emanated from and the authenticity of the story.
In my opinion, the only way to absolve the school and the accused teacher of the accusations is to prove it never happened. And the only way to prove it never happened is to get the author of the story to either name the victim (so the police can carry out an investigation) or to take the author to court because this is not only an allegation against the teacher, it also affects the image of the school.
