I’m not entirely sure how it all happened, but showing emotions or being honest about our true feelings in Ghana is quite difficult. Regardless of what Ghanaian women feel for you, it’s very rare they’d voice it.
1. “So you don’t miss me eh?” this simply means “she misses you”.
2. “So you’ve “dawged” me eh” Meaning … why are you not reaching out to me or why have you ignored me?
3. “Go and talk to your other girlfriends” this is to say, they enjoy talking to you and do not want you to go ….
4. “Ei! you, the way the girls are all over you on Instagram” She’s jealous you are getting massive love on social media ….
5. “Don’t let your girlfriends beat me o!” this means she likes you and she’s trying to confirm whether you have a girlfriend or seeing someone else ..
6. Dear! When a Ghanaian girl calls you dear, it means you’ve been friend zoned man, there’s no hope.
7. “Fresh boy chupa chops!” Simply mean, you are good looking or good looking enough for her …
8. “I’m thinking about myself o!” It means she’s single and lonely AF, just do your best and she’s all yours, this is usually the answer to the question, “are you in a relationship”?
9. “We de3, we don’t stand a chance” This is used to verify whether you think she’s pretty nor not …
10. “Ei! wob3kume o! (you go kill me o)” this means you got game pass EA Sports… keep slaying bro!
I have been reporting for several years now and I am very interested in visual news reportage with strong inclusion of photos and video multimedia.
