Real Madrid have long hoped that Zinedine Zidane can emulate Pep Guardiola, and the Frenchman already has. Not by making the successful transition from legendary player to masterful coach, however, but by suffering a wardrobe malfunction during a game.This time it was Zidane's turn to suffer an embarrassing tear on the touchline, as the Madrid boss managed to rip a huge hole in his trousers while jumping and spinning around during an enthusiastic sideshow to Cristiano Ronaldo's brilliant hat-trick against Wolfsburg.

 The victory ensured that Madrid's hopes of the undecima - their 11th European Cup triumph - are still very much alive.
