A former media aide of Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is currently reflecting on pictures used by the then opposition party - All Progressives Congress to attack the People's Democratic Party.
Mocking pictures were used on both sides in promoting the public image of their candidates and demeaning the other. Most of the memes and pictures were not officially authorized by both major parties in Nigeria as actions of this nature were taken by party supporters and loyalists.
It appears that Mr. Jonathan who later lost and conceded defeat to Buhari was at the receiving end during the election campaign.
