Militant leader, Kareowei Who Allegedly Killed Bayelsa Official, Soldiers Arrested by Security Agent

A militant leader, Oyawerikumor Peregbabofa, aka Kareowei, who allegedly beheaded a senior security officer ​in​ Bayelsa State has been arrested by a combined team of security operatives in Delta State.

Kareowei​ also supervised the murder of​ four soldiers in an ambush​.​ ​The gang leader led the killing of ​the ​security personnel ​in​ Edegbene community in Burutu Local Government Area.​

Though the suspect sustained gun shot injury during shoot out,​ he is in custody of security operatives. The ​Police is expected to issue a release of the development later in the day.
