Newborn Baby Boy Abandoned By Unknown Person At Dumpsite In Lagos Dies - GISTMANIA

THE lifeless body of a new born baby boy abandoned by unknown person beside a dumpsite at Ajakaiye Street in Ilemba community Mechanic Bus Stop, Lagos, was discovered by residents yesterday.

A resident, Henry, said: “I was the first person to see the baby in the bag early this morning (yesterday) when I was going to open my shop. Initially I didn’t know it was a baby that was in the bag.” Another woman, Mummy Uche, told Vanguard: “I don’t know who dumped the baby there.

“We woke up this morning (yesterday) and found the baby in a sac. The baby was already dead when we discovered him. “I don’t think the baby was used for ritual purpose, because all its body parts are intact. Only God knows who kept the baby there.” It was gathered that some residents had to bring the baby out of the sac to ascertain if it was still alive or if any part of his body was missing; all his body parts were intact.
