There was pandemonium at the popular Area 1 roundabout Abuja when suspected thugs loyal to the embattled Senator Dino Melaye (APC, Kogi West) rescued him and whisked him away from the fully armed Special Anti-Robbery Squad.

The drama which began at 2.10 pm lasted for about six minutes with the suspected thugs, in two Hilux van double-crossing the police escort, jerked up Melaye and threw him into one of the van and speed off.
According to reports, he was later rearrested and taken to Zankli hospital in the Mabushi district of Abuja, due to the injury he sustained while trying to flee.
He is expected to be paraded later this evening among other hardened criminals who implicated him in the crime that necessitated his arrest

what happens if someone jumps from a moving vehicle, and what happens if the person does not know how to jump from a moving vehicle, what was he thinking, maybe he thought he would have a soft landing then boom like the movies he would quickly run and disappear, or he knew what would happen and he would disappear in the hospital, this drama is quite amazing.

I have always said Nigerians are the problem of nigeria , what is beyond my comprehension in this whole drama is the lazy and idle youths supportig someone who has an indictment hanging on his neck . THe senator was indicted or rather implicated by someone born of a woman just like him and already languishing in jail , why does the senator find it to hard and waited till this urgly point to clear his name ? this same way this idle youths are defending someone with a criminal case to answer same way they sell their votes and future for peanuts to elect this fraudsters to power until the nigeria youths refineds and amend their ways our country will not move forward they are at the center of our problems , why not let the law takes it full course no matter whom is involved , its a shame to our youths , the president was not wrong in his words in lodon
