Nigerian Government Receives $311M (N1.2TR) Abacha Loot From The USA

The Nigerian government has received $311 million dollars recovered assets of General Sani Abacha from the USA.  The Attorney-General of Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, confirmed this today.  Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, announced that the Nigerian government on Monday received $311,797,866 of the Abacha loot. The money was repatriated from the United States and the Bailiwick of Jersey after a recent agreement.

The Nigerian government has now received well over $10 billion in funds looted by the former head of state whose children now reside in France and partly in Nigeria too.
