He should come out in the open with confessions, this is just the beginning of his personal preference, maybe job creation for his allies on the campus.
 He should be subjected to brain check. what is a Hug anyway?  A hug is a form of physical intimacy, not necessarily segxwal. The hug is one of the most common human signs of love and affection. Unlike some other forms of physical intimacy, it is practiced publicly and privately without stigma in many countries, religions and cultures, within families, and also across age and gender lines. If he is interested in politics, let him go their and do like his brother (the old governor)who at the end took a child for a wife. Instead of constituting a conducive environment for learning and promoting proper societal discipline, he want to waste inadequate resources to abrogate and monitor students who hug on his campus. This life is unbecoming.   
 What this VC does not understand is that sometimes unnecessary laws always attract undue attention and hence prone to deliberate infringement. Supposing he comes out to ban sex on the campus, I will support. But definitely not hug, he should be removed from that position for narrow mindedness and selfishness, take for example a couple on the same campus, the best they can do is just to hug each other when departing. etc.
