Nigerian singer and a member of the queer community, Temmie Ovwasa reveals that every family has a pedophile and the country is not addressing the situation well enough.
The singer who is very much open about her segxwality as a lesbian stated that there are many pedophiles in Nigeria, as a result of the fact that it is legal to marry children ins some parts of the country.
She expresses he anger at the act as there is the constant news report of a grown man segxwally abusing a child.
Temmie calls out many to stop pretending as most of these males that abuse young children are actually from home and families.
Taking to Twitter she tweeted saying, There are many pedophiles in Nigeria, We’re not addressing it as we should and it’s stressing my brain out, Every family has one, Almost every Nigerian woman I’ve met has been segxwally harassed/abused by an uncle.. Where are these uncles? In their homes, “Head of the house”.
What do you expect from a country where it’s legal to marry children in some parts? That grown man with a younger wife and a baby they had when she was obviously a minor? Do you know him? Yeah, I know a lot of them too. Keep pretending it’s not happening right under your noses.
