FG Will Appeal N20bn Damages Against DSS - AGF Malami Abubakar Discloses

Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami has said that the federal government will be appealing the judgment of an Oyo State High Court which awarded N20 billion in damages to Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo also known as Sunday Igboho following the invasion of his home by the DSS at about 1:30am on July 1, 2021.

Igboho was awarded the money after his lawyer, Mr Yomi Alliyu (SAN)  had filed a N500 billion fundamental human rights enforcement suit against the AGF, DSS and Director of the DSS in Oyo State over the incident.
Ruling on the case, Justice Ladiran Akintola said the DSS exhibited an unprofessional conduct during the invasion and also violated Igboho's human rights.
Reacting to the ruling, Malami said efforts are already being made to commence the process of appealing the judgment.

Hahaha lol that addresses my fear when I heard the verdict today.
I knew they would appeal the judgement.

Their strategy would be to appeal the judgement in Abuja. In front of a Fulani judge who would scupper the decision of the Ibadan Court.

I knew they'll not obey the Ibadan Court's decision.

Remember this country is Fulageria not Nigeria.  Its a shame that as Fulanis love to be seen as the intelligent owner of Nigeria,  the only Presidential candidate they could produce to represent them was Buhari with no Primary School certificate.
