The Convener, Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju has called on popular musician, Davido to run for political office in the 2023 general election.
Adeyanju encouraged the 29-year-old musician to kick off his political career by vying for a seat in the House of Representatives.
He said that Davido has the characteristics of a good leader because he has the welfare of the people at heart.
The activist and social media influencer said that the artiste’s decision to donate N250 million to orphanages across the country confirmed this.
“I appeal to you to run for House of Reps in 2023 because you care about the people and know what the issues are. The N250m donation to the less privileged is a further justification of this assertion,” Adeyanju said.
