JUST IN: PDP Fix Presidential Primary For May 28, Governorship May 21

The People's Democratic Party, PDP has fixed May 28 as the date for its Presidential primaries.

The party's  National Working Committee (NEC) disclosed this in its timetable released by Umar Bature, the national organizing secretary of the PDP, after the joint meeting of the board of trustees (BOT) and national executive committee (NEC) of the party at its headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday, March 16.

According to the timetable,  the governorship primaries will take place on May 21. Aspirants interested in contesting the presidential election are to pay as much as N35 million for their form while youths aged between 25 and 30 will get 50 percent discount on the nomination form fees.
