I do not agree with the opinion that a child should be rewarded as a reinforcement for a good behaviour. While i opposed to an act of beating a child for wrong doing, giving them incentives for positive behaviour is likely going to encourage them to respond negatively when they are not rewarded for being morally behaved. The child will end up growing up with the belief and expectation that they should be rewarded for every positive behaviour.
