Media reports had on Tuesday quoted Tinubu as saying that the Action Congress of Nigeria, of which he is a leader, would win the 2011 election in Oyo and Ogun states.
Accompanied by some other chieftains of the ACN, including its National Chairman, Chief Bisi Akande, and a former governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba, Tinubu was said to have criticised Alao-Akala’s administration in Oyo State.
The former governor reportedly said that there was no visible development in the state under Alao-Akala, hence the need for the ACN to take over the administration of the state in 2011.
