Suspected NIMC Officials Nabbed In Niger Republic Enrolling Foreigners For NIN

The Nigerian military says two suspected fake National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) officials have been arrested in Niger Republic for allegedly enrolling non-Nigerians for National Identity Number (NIN).

This was disclosed by the Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Musa Danmadami, during the biweekly briefing at the Defence Headquarters.

General Danmadami disclosed that the suspects had visited Gagamari IDPs camp in Niger Republic to register non-Nigerians in the IDPs camp, noting that items were recovered from the suspects including the National Identification Number (NIN) registration machine, printing machine, laminating machine, a computer tracking machine and a generator set among other items.

He further added that the military had also arrested terrorists, logistics suppliers and rescued civilians during its operation.

According to him, they have been handed over to the appropriate authority for further action.

As if you don't know that Niger Republic is the 20th northern state of Nigeria. You can even get Nigerian international passport there without any difficulty.

Point of correction , they are not Biafrauds and never will be! But Hausa and Fulde being one of the largest ethnic groups in Africa cannot being tied down by artificial boundaries! Unfortunately some LOUD tiny pigmy minorities like igbos that have no good ties with any other ethnic group anywhere will say otherwise!!!
