Veteran Ghanaian journalist Kwabena Yeboah broke down in uncontrollable tears as he anchored a show discussing the game between the Blacks Stars and Uruguay.

The four-time African champions renew their rivalry with the South American nation twelve years after the dramatic quarter-final clash in South Africa.

Ghana were eliminated from the tournament after Luis Suarez stopped a goal-bound effort from Dominic Adiyiah with his hands. Even though the ex-Liverpool forward was red carded, Ghana forward Asamoah Gyan missed the penalty.

And while Mr Yeboah and his panelist were discussing the match, the president of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana broke down in tears. The emotional scene was shared on social media. John Painstil, a member of the 2010 team could not help it as his eyes got teary.
