President Muhammadu Buhari will depart Abuja on Wednesday for London, United Kingdom, to participate in the Coronation ceremony of King Charles III, and his Queen Consort, Camilla, on Saturday, May 6. A statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, also informed that President Buhari would also be attending a Commonwealth Summit, scheduled to hold on Friday, May 5, by the Commonwealth Secretariat in London.

The President, who will be accompanied by a number of senior government officials, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, and his Information and Culture counterpart, Lai Mohammed, is expected to leave in the afternoon, probably after the week’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
