Men of the Ondo State police command have arrested a palm wine tapper identified as Sunday Mima, for allegedly r@ping an 80-year-old grandmother to d£ath.
The suspect allegedly att@cked the victim identified as Aderibigbe Felicia, a native of Ore in Odigbo council in the state, on her farm, stripped her nak3d and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.
The suspect was apprehended by some youths in the community who reportedly found in his possession the victim’s mobile telephone.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, Funmi Odunlami, said it was a case of r@pe and murd£r. She added that the suspect would soon be paraded by the command after interrogation and subsequently charged to court.
