A Lagos-bound commercial bus belonging to Benue State owned transport company, Benue Links, has been allegedly hijacked by yet to be identified gunmen on Monday.
It was gathered that the hoodlums abducted some passengers that were being conveyed by the vehicle.
Gistmania reports that the incident occurred between Ajaokuta and Okene in Kogi State.
It was also learnt that some passengers managed to escape when the gun-wielding hoodlums attacked the vehicle.
Efforts made to speak to the Acting General Manager of Benue Links in Makurdi on the incident were not successful as several calls made to his mobile telephone were not answered.
