Raphael was born in Nkawkaw, Ghana 28yrs ago and like most kids born in Ghana, and like most kids had fallen in love with the round leather game, football!

He got the opportunity to pursue his dream when he joined the Red Bull Ghana Under 17 team.

He played for the RB Ghana U-17 team at the “Red Bull Ghana Developmental Program” in Croix, France in 2013, helping his team to win the silver medal.

He was named the best player of the tournament and this earned him a move to FC Salzburg in Austria where he joined the Under-18 team winning the golden boot in his first season.

His talent was UNDENIABLE.

A year later, he was promoted to FC Liefering, Salzburg farmer team to play first team football and he enjoyed a sensational season scoring 18 goals in 20 games earning him a move to FC Zurich in the Swiss League.

He continued his exploits in front of goal for the Swiss team scoring 12 goals in 18 games and this brought the attention of a PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM!!!!

On 21st August 2017, FC Zurich agreed a deal with EPL team, Brighton for Raphael’s transfer but he FAILED his medicals.

Brighton discovered he had a heart condition and didn’t want to take the risk, Raphael who is a vocal Christian was heart broken but had this to say when asked.

He returned to Zurich and a year later signed for Spanish side, Levante UD on a 4 yr deal.

Levante loaned him out to Real Zaragoza and in 2019, after new examinations were carried out on him, it was discovered that he had a heart defect called “VENTRICULAR ARRHYTHMIA”

The doctors recommended his IMMEDIATE withdrawal and RETIREMENT from football.

They implanted an “IMPLANTABLE CARDIOVERTER-DEFIBRILLATOR (ICD)”

An ICD is a device that detects a life threatening, rapid heartbeat and quickly sends an electrical shock to the heart.

The shock changes the heartbeat to normal and saves the patient.

But against the advice of his doctors, he returned back to playing and like he would say in most of his videos, “There’s nothing impossible with God”.

He tried God......some things are just foolishness. All those who were aware of his health condition and still engage him in the sport should be sued!
