Popular Nigerian singer and dancer, Korra Obidi, has shed light on the reasons behind her public confession regarding infidelity in her estranged marriage to Justin Dean. In a recent interview with News Central, the mother of two explained that her decision to openly admit to cheating was driven by a desire to avoid living with a hidden truth.
Recalling her earlier confession in 2022, where she revealed having cheated on her husband while in Nigeria before relocating to the United States, Korra Obidi emphasized that she does not regret coming forward with her truth. She believes that her transparency led to the revelation of more aspects of their relationship.

“If I had not said what I said, if I had not come through with my truth, it wouldn’t have brought out all the truths that came to light,” she stated during the interview. Both Korra and her ex-husband, Justin Dean, acknowledged various issues within their marriage after her initial confession.
In response to the public’s reaction and criticism following her admission, Korra Obidi expressed her firm stance on not regretting her openness. She highlighted that living a lie to please the public would not have been sustainable and emphasized her refusal to carry secrets throughout her life.
She said, “I would never regret saying I was having commitment issues before I came to America. I never said my ex-husband is the only man I’m going to be sleeping with for the rest of my life. So I dabbled. I admitted to it openly. And a lot of people insulted me for it, but at the end of the day, I would never live with a secret to death.“
