The community of Isiokpo in the Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State is preparing to bid farewell to former Bank Managing Director, Herbert Wigwe, his wife Chizoba, and their son, Cizzy, as their remains arrived in the town on Friday, March 8.
The late bank chief, his wife, and son, along with former NEXG chairman Bimbo Ogunbanjo and two others, tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash in California on February 9.
The solemn occasion will see the family laid to rest in a private ceremony scheduled for Saturday, March 9, in accordance with their wishes.
Community leaders and residents have expressed their condolences to the Wigwe family and are making arrangements to pay their final respects during the funeral proceedings.
The tragic loss of Herbert Wigwe, his wife, and son has deeply affected not only their family and friends but also the wider community. Their memory will be cherished, and their legacy will endure in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.
