In a dazzling spectacle of beauty and grace, Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic emerged victorious, claiming the prestigious title of Miss World 2024 at the 71st Miss World pageant.
The grand event unfolded on Saturday night, March 9, at the esteemed Jio World Convention Centre in BKC, Mumbai, India, where Pyszkova triumphed over 111 other contestants from around the globe.
Expressing her elation upon receiving the coveted crown, Pyszkova remarked, "Being crowned Miss World is a dream come true. I am deeply honored to represent my country and the values of 'beauty with a purpose' on a global platform."
The first runner-up position was secured by Yasmina Zaytoun from Lebanon, followed by Aché Abrahams of Trinidad and Tobago as the second runner-up, and Lesego Chombo of Botswana as the third runner-up.
Pyszkova's victory marks the second time that the Czech Republic has claimed the Miss World title, following Tatana Kucharova's win in 2006.
