
The Ondo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has apprehended Abraham Achibong for allegedly engaging in a segxwal relationship with his eight-year-old daughter in the Ile-Oluji community, located in the Ile-Oluji Oke Igbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
This arrest was announced by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Aidamenbor Daniel, in a statement released on Friday. Achibong, who has reportedly confessed to the crime, will face charges of rape, molestation, and incest.
In addition to Achibong, the NSCDC also arrested two other individuals, Ojo Oluwasola and Agu Matthew. Oluwasola was detained on charges of theft, while Matthew was apprehended for alleged fraud.
These suspects were paraded by the state commandant, Ibiloye Oluyemi, at the NSCDC headquarters in Akure, the state capital.
The authorities have indicated that all suspects will be prosecuted according to the law.
