In a stern message directed at ministers of the gospel, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), cautioned against the dangers of segxwal immorality, emphasizing that even the strongest anointing cannot withstand such temptations.

Speaking at the Ministers & Workers Conference of RCCG Americas 1, Pastor Adeboye recounted biblical examples, including that of Samson, to illustrate his point. He highlighted that despite Samson's tremendous strength and anointing, he fell prey to segxwal temptation, which ultimately led to his downfall.

"Anointing does not turn your body to stone," Pastor Adeboye asserted. "Samson was anointed, yet a woman brought him down. I run faster now at my age to avoid any form of temptation because the closer you get to the finishing point, the more careful you must be."

Addressing the congregation, Pastor Adeboye admonished, "When you see a woman or a man smiling at you in a way that is not appropriate, run. The devil may come against you in many ways, but when it comes to segxwal temptation, you must flee."

He underscored the importance of heeding biblical teachings on segxwal purity, urging both men and women to guard their hearts and minds against allurements that could compromise their integrity and ministry.

Reflecting on recent scandals within the church community, Pastor Adeboye cautioned, "Anybody who tells you that your actions are hidden, remember that secrets are only secrets until they are exposed."

He concluded with a reminder from scripture: "The Bible says, flee youthful lusts. It did not say rely on grace alone. There is no grace for what God commands you to run from; perhaps grace to run."

The message from Pastor Adeboye resonates amidst ongoing efforts within RCCG and beyond to uphold moral standards and integrity among church leaders and members alike.
