In a heart-wrenching video circulating on social media, Madam Elsie Evelyn Avemegah, the biological mother of Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, has accused her son of neglecting her for over a decade
This allegation is not new, as Madam Elsie has been vocal about her struggles with her son’s absence in the past.
In 2022, she revealed that she had been evicted from her home after six years and had not seen her son in over five years, despite her deteriorating health and numerous attempts to reach out to him.
Fast forward to 2024, Madam Elsie’s health has further deteriorated, with her suffering from severe hypertension and other ailments, without any support from her son.
Her niece, Sherita, has corroborated these claims, detailing Shatta Wale’s prolonged absence and the family’s struggles in caring for the elderly woman.
In the trending video, a tearful Madam Elsie alleged that Shatta Wale has abandoned her, with no knowledge of her whereabouts or daily struggles.
She is currently in the care of her sister and niece, Sherita Aheteku. Madam Elsie appealed to the public for financial support to cover her medical and personal needs, explaining that her struggles have taken a toll on her physical appearance.
Her allegations follow those of her niece, Sherita, who earlier exposed Shatta Wale for abandoning his mother.
