House on the Rock’s Lead Pastor and Founder, Pastor Paul Adefarasin has been under an online attack after his Twitter comment on the the failed assassination attempt made on the life of Donald Trump while he was speaking at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
In his comment on Twitter, Pastor Paul Adefarasin condemned the assassination attempt. He pointed out that it was unbecoming for a country that was the model of democracy in the world. He commiserated with the family of the diseased spectator and prayed for the speedy recovery of former President Donald Trump. He further appreciated President Biden for condemning the attempt and putting a call across to Donald Trump in solidarity.
Nigerians on X seemed to have found these comments hypocritical stating that he could have equally called out acts of violence and abuse of power in Nigeria in the past. They advised that he focus on issues affecting Nigerians and his direct locality.
