Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri is mourning the demise of late veteran singer and journalist, Onyeka Onwenu.
He paid a glowing tribute to the journalist who died on Tuesday night, July 30, at the age of 72.
Reno in his post said nobody in Nigeria’s entertainment industry was as naturally beautiful and awesomely talented as the late singer.
He stated that as a vocalist, she remains unmatched, hitting the right notes without auto-tune.
Reno said the late Onwenu had the looks, charm and intelligence.
He wrote;
‘’Nobody in Nigeria's entertainment industry was as naturally beautiful and awesomely talented as Onyeka Onwenu. As a vocalist, she remains unmatched, hitting the right notes without auto-tune. Just look at her here. She could have been Miss Nigeria. She had the looks, charm, and intelligence. She would call on video to play with my daughter. The great Iyogogo who shared one love with us and made our youth that much brighter.''
