Nigerian pastor Abel Damina has ignited a heated debate with his recent remarks about procreation and God's role in the process.
In a widely circulated video teaching, Damina asserted,
Quote
“God does not give children. A young man on drugs rapes a girl on the road, and she gets pregnant and gives birth to twins, while a couple that has been faithfully paying tithe, fasting, and praying for 15 years do not yet have a baby, can it be said that God is responsible? God can never be like that. God has already set the system of reproduction, it is humans that’ll determine whether they want to get pregnant by engaging in the needful or not.”
Damina's comments have generated mixed reactions among the public. Some have labeled his teachings as heretical, while others have expressed agreement with his viewpoints.
The debate continues to rage on social media, reflecting the divisive nature of Damina's statements on the complex issues of faith, fertility, and divine intervention.
