Prominent Nigerian investment banker Farooq Oreagba, popularly known as "King of Steeze," has made a bold claim regarding his past marriages, stating that despite being divorced twice, no woman has ever broken up with him. Oreagba, who recently spoke in an interview with content creator Timi Agbaje, revealed that he was the one who initiated the separation in both of his previous marriages.
"I have been twice divorced. I’m single now. In both cases, I was the one that walked away. No woman has ever left me," Oreagba shared during the interview.
The banker, who is currently single but involved in a relationship, also spoke about his personal life, including his role as a father to three sons, the oldest of whom is 24. Reflecting on his life experiences, Oreagba mentioned a significant health challenge he faced a decade ago.
"I was living a very fast life, and then the Almighty decided to slow me down. I was diagnosed with cancer 10 years ago," he disclosed, adding that he is now open to love and is currently seeing someone special. "Marriage scares the hell out of me. But definitely, I’m open to love. We start with love and then we move to marriage. I’m open for the ride."
Oreagba, who recently gained attention after iconic photos from the 2024 Ojude Oba festival went viral, was appointed as a global ambassador for Arts and Culture by the Nigerian government. Despite his reservations about marriage, he expressed optimism about his current relationship, noting that his partner "has his back 24/7."
Oreagba’s candid reflections offer a glimpse into the personal life of a man who has faced both professional success and personal challenges, all while maintaining a confident and optimistic outlook on love and relationships.
