Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has been named the patron of the Ecumenical Synod of Bishops, Archbishops, and Senior Clergy Inc. (ESBAASC).
During the event, Pastor Joseph Obayemi, the RCCG National Overseer Emeritus, represented Adeboye, who spoke about the challenges facing Nigeria today compared to the past. He emphasized that religious tolerance is crucial for a nation’s development, peace, and unity.
Adeboye remarked, “It is also a practice that helps to promote mutual understanding, peaceful co-existence, unity, and peace among people of diverse cultures like Nigeria and the world.”
