The Lagos State Police Command recently apprehended two individuals impersonating police officers. Although dressed in official police uniforms, these men were not affiliated with the police force.
A video circulating online reveals the suspects being confronted by genuine police officers, who are seen hitting them before parading them for the public.
"With police uniform o. With police uniform, wearing inspector rank," a female police officer behind the camera is heard saying in disbelief as she watched the fake officers being paraded.
"Wahala. Lagos don turn to another thing," she added.
The male police officers also displayed the guns the fake officers were caught with.
"Hey, him don use am o," one officer said as he inspected the gun, insinuating the fake officers have recently fired the gun.
