Popular Nigerian comedian, Seyi Law has taken a swipe at supporters of the Labour Party, after the All Progressive Congress, APC, emerged victorious in the Edo state governorship elections.
Seyi questioned the translation of online engagement into the real world when it comes to politics.
He mocked them and then bragged about the forthcoming Ondo State election, where his principal, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa will be running for office.
Recall months ago, the comedian was made the Senior Special Assistant (Entertainment & Tourism) to the state Governor.
He says in Ondo, where he will also be a huge part of the campaign for the governor, Labour Party won’t win.
“You can have the highest repost, likes, and comments online. Can you translate them to real votes? You can win the award for being the best in cursing or abusing. Can it get you more followers offline? Ondo State election is next. You no go hear ELUUUU sef,” Seyi tweeted.
