Isaac Fayose, the brother of former Ekiti State governor Ayo Fayose, has weighed in on the controversy surrounding Speed Darlington's recent arrest.
According to reports, Speed Darlington was arrested after making allegations against Burna Boy, accusing him of having a relationship with American rapper and mogul P. Diddy.
Isaac Fayose expressed that Speed Darlington should remain in police custody, citing his history of inappropriate comments.
Fayose recalled a particularly offensive remark Darlington made about Igbo women who have children with Yoruba men.
He also addressed those defending Speed Darlington by claiming that he is mentally unstable, challenging their position and suggesting that such behavior should not be excused.
According to the social media commentator, a person with mental issues shouldn’t possess a phone, and the police should confine him in a separate room for healing.
Isaac Fayose’s video led to mixed feedback from social media users, with some accusing him of the same behavior he was calling out in Speed Darlington.

That Speed Darlington can talk anyhow. I am also looking for him. The police shouldn’t release him, he needs to be taken to a mental hospital for checkup. — Isaac Fayose pic.twitter.com/RWhaiuAnRa
