Shocking As 4 Boys, Girl Mysteriously Found Dead In A Room In Edo State

Five persons have been reportedly found dead in a room at Afashio community, Uzairue in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State.

It was learnt that the deceased four boys and a girl were alleged to have been found dead in the room in questionable circumstances.

It was also gathered that two of the victims were brothers while the three others, including the female, were their friends.

The corpses of the deceased were said to have been discovered by family members who noticed that they were yet to come out of the room.

The family member who decided to check on them, however, found their lifeless bodies inside the room.

The Public Relations Officer of the Edo State Police Command, SP Moses Yamu, confirmed the incident.

Moses simply said: “The Command is aware. But investigation to unravel the cause of death is ongoing.”

However, a source in the community said food poisoning was being suspected, as there was no sign of assault or marks on them.

He said the incident was reported at the Jattu Police Division even as the family members were trying to unravel the cause of their death.
