This financial support will help alleviate the costs of raising children, alongside additional aid in the form of free pampers and milk for infants during their first three months.
The new policy is part of Botswana's ongoing commitment to enhance social welfare programs, which already include free education, healthcare, legal representation, and land allocation for its citizens.
Furthermore, the government continues to offer allowances to senior citizens and individuals with physical disabilities, aiming to ensure the well-being of all demographic groups within the country.
